As most of you know, the boys have a playpen in the living room. It IS admittedly a lot like a kiddy jail, but it affords me the luxury of doing stuff like brushing my teeth (sometimes) and finding shoes that match (occasionally).

I don’t know if it’s the red light on the front of the camera that gets their attention or if they have a Gloria Swanson complex but, man, these boys love a motion picture camera!

Well, we finally did it. We abandoned our babies and left town for an adults-only weekend. It IS our first anniversary, after all.
Vegas seemed like the nearest destination where we could effectively pack in such vices as fine dining (damn fine!), drinking, cigar smoking, gambling and other mature amusement that we’ve thoroughly neglected in [...]

And in case you were wondering if Sebastian resembles his father, the answer would be yes… especially if his father was Limahl of Kajagoogoo fame!

It seems this growing thing slows down dramatically after the first year, huh? Also, I’m not really sure [...]

For anyone who’s wondering if there’s a family resemblance, that’s Nicholas at one year old on the left and me at the same age on the right.

Most mornings I go to the park with the boys. We play on the swings and in the sandbox. And, on our way home, Sebastian often falls asleep. Sometimes, he does that with his favourite toy in hand.
